HOME MADE PROTEIN BARS

CARROT CAKE PROTEIN BARS

Ingredients:

1 cup coconut flour

2 scoops protein powder (vanilla works best)

2 tsp cinnamon

½ tsp baking soda

¼ tsp salt

1/8 tsp allspice

1/8 tsp nutmeg

4 egg whites

¾ cup sugar

8 oz baby food carrots

4oz water

 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Mix all dry ingredients minus the sugar (flour, protein, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, baking soda and salt) together in a bowl

Mix egg whites, sugar, baby food and water in a bowl

Add both wet and dry ingredients together and blend well

Spray glass dish with non stick butter spray, pour ingredients into dish and bake for 20-30 minutes

 

Portions:

Cut evenly to make 16 serving squares
